Riverside County, CA (April 13, 2026) – Riverside County is once again taking center stage as a growing hub for entrepreneurship and emerging industries with the launch of its 9th annual Innovation Month this April. The countywide initiative highlights the region’s expanding innovation ecosystem while connecting local startups to national and global opportunities.
A key highlight of Innovation Month 2026 is Riverside County’s continued partnership with Startup World Cup, providing entrepreneurs with a direct pathway to compete for a $1 million equity investment at the global Startup World Cup Grand Finale in November. Through a series of five regional fast pitch competitions, startups will present their ideas to investors, industry leaders, and community stakeholders, with top finalists advancing to represent Riverside County on the international stage.
Innovation Month reflects Riverside County’s broader commitment to building a competitive, innovation-driven economy, supporting high-growth industries, attracting investment, and creating quality jobs for residents across the region.
“Innovation Month showcases the bold ideas and entrepreneurial spirit driving Riverside County forward,” said Riverside County Supervisor and Chair, Karen Spiegel. “By connecting our startups to global opportunities, we are positioning our region as a leader in innovation and economic growth.”

Throughout April, the County will also spotlight innovation centers, incubators, and companies driving economic growth across Riverside County.
As Riverside County continues to attract investment and support the next generation of businesses, Innovation Month 2026 reinforces the county’s role as a destination for entrepreneurs, innovators, and forward-thinking industries.
